Government is the ultimate charity

Three suggestions to improve UK society

1. Political parties must only do what is specified in their manifestos.

This way, electors will know how parties will make decisions, and be able to discuss them thoroughly.

2. Parents should be obligated until they die to provide whenever possible the following things to their children, while society should be obligated to provide them otherwise: safe shelter, food for longevity, and sanitary facilities for longterm body health.

This way, children will be able to choose their own obligations without being constrained by parent's choices, the society will not have to bear so much of the discontent of individuals born into unagreed obligations, and populations will be more reasonably regulated. (Note that this does not prevent anyone from choosing to have children.)

3. Abolish the minimum wage

This way, all people will be able to work together at pay rates that suit them. With the second suggestion, what is the justification for the minimum wage? (Note that South Korea's minimum wage is $3.43, and Singapore has no minimum wage.)
